CAD
CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design - in which a product is designed using computer-aided (graphical) tools. The final CAD data contains a detailed design with the associated parts lists, circuit diagrams, network lists, graphic layout information and other manufacturing documents. These can be used directly by the appropriate CAD/CAM software to plan further work.
