Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) refers to services that relate to the contract manufacturing of electronic components and assemblies. So called EMS service providers can be used to outsource the development and manufacture of electronic assemblies, apparatus and systems. Depending on specialization, electronics development, PCB assembly and cable assembly can be part of an EMS service provider's portfolio.
