Fixture

A fixture is generally used to connect various mechanical or electrical devices. In-Circuit test fixtures are used to connect electrical networks. Bed of nails fixtures are typically used for this purpose. These establish contact between the test channels of the test system, e.g. in-circuit testers, and the circuit nodes (test points) of the module to be tested. Spring-loaded contact pins are usually used. The fixture must be manufactured individually for each module.
