30 Years Digitaltest in USA
The year 2019 marks our 30th Anniversary of Digitaltest Inc. in California, USA. It all began in 1989, when Dr. Grant Boctor, founder of Digitaltest GmbH in Germany, founded CAE Technologies Incorporation.
CAE Technologies was solely distributing Digitaltest automated test systems for printed PCBs and software for automating production, and quality management systems for Digitaltest GmbH in Germany. When Silicon Valley was booming and sales in the USA began to rise, US Digitaltest Inc. was first formed and merged with CAE Technologies Inc. on May 17, 1999. The company was located in the heart of Silicon Valley, in San Jose and profited from being in the center for high technology and innovation. Digitaltest was able to prove itself in the USA acquiring many renowned companies in many sectors of the industry such as aerospace/avionics, defense, automotive/transportation, electronic manufacturing services (EMS), industrial electronics and information technology. The key to success has been the outstanding service and the technical knowledge of applications, which has made Digitaltest Inc. one of a kind. Digitaltest has been successfully in business for 30 years and is continuing to grow and flourish. Today Digitaltest is located in Concord, California and is an ITAR approved electronic manufacturer.
