Novomatic relies on the Flying Probe Test System from Digitaltest - also in series operation.

With reliable test systems Digitaltest supports Novomatic AG, one of the world's leading suppliers of gaming equipment, with the introduction of a new product group.

The requirements
Before introducing a new product group, it was necessary to avoid expensive fixture costs for prototypes and small series during testing, but at the same time to find a flexible test solution that could be used promptly and ultimately to develop an economically viable strategy for Novomatc AG in order to achieve greater overall fault coverage with an insignificantly longer test time.

The suprising solution
Digitaltest could convince with the flexibility of its Condor Flying-Probe MTS systems. Due to the open software architecture the programming of an automated test depth control was possible, which increased the test throughput without compromising the test quality. The stability of the measurement results and the reliability of the systems allowed the introduction of a extra shifts without an operator on nights and weekends. The test depth control and the additional shifts managed to achieve the needed throughput without sacrificing quality assurance. The three systems used (frontloader and 2x Inline) have been in series operation for 3 years now.
