We have expanded: New production site for Digitaltest Germany

Stutensee - July 2016. Digitaltest is a company with over 35 years of tradition, which has been growing continuously. This isn’t reflected only by sales increase and growing employee numbers. Our new production site is completed, the equipment is in place, and we are looking forward to welcome our customers and partners in our new meeting room.

The new building

The new expansion is 700 m² in total and consists mainly of enlarged production space, a service and test and repair center, a showroom to display our complete test equipment and a new meeting room that will be used as a training site.

The new production space allows us to build more machines simultaneously and to store more equipment. With state of the art technologies in the new service and test and repair area, we can better serve our customers. Our service does not end with the delivery of test systems or license delivery of the software - personal attention and support are important to us. Therefore we made a new training space, where we offer individual training courses to our users. The new building was constructed with keeping the needs of our customers as well as our employees in mind. We have emphasized short communication paths to maintain our good service and the great flexibility of our customer service, in part by connecting the administrative headquarter to the new facility by a small passage. Meanwhile the internal friendly and family-like atmosphere among our colleagues remains unabated.

Furthermore we created 20 more parking spaces, an attractive lounge area and an outside terrace. Employees and customers can look forward to the latest standards in terms of infrastructure, technology, design and equipment.

A vision becomes reality

"The fact that we stand here today is because of our continuous growth in a strong industry" says Hans Baka. CEO Ute Boctor emphasized that this is possible due to the long-term loyalty and motivation of the employees. The late company founder Dr. Grant Boctor had plans for such a project for over ten years ago. The vision has now come true.

"It means a lot to me that the vision of my father - the company founder Dr. Grant Boctor, who passed away in 2005 and already had the idea of an expansion in a form of this new structure - has finally come true," said Ms Boctor-Vauvert who, as the deputy construction manager, is closely involved in planning and coordination. The planning staff is also strengthened by the company's production manager, Mr. Seibel.
